1350SD
The 1350 machine is equipped with one abrasive belt unit followed by two oscillating disc units, each featuring two large rotating discs. The abrasive belt unit can be fitted with the unique DPG floating head system. This combination makes the 1350 a versatile solution for graining, deburring, edge rounding, oxide removal, or orbital finishing.
Key Features:
Abrasive Belt Unit: For graining or deburring with infinitely variable abrasive belt speed.
Disc Units: Two disc units in the center and two disc units on the outfeed side.
Oscillation Stroke: Larger than the width of the feed belt for comprehensive processing.
Uniform Edge Rounding: 360° edge rounding from all directions on inside and outside contours.
Uniform Wear: Even wear of disc tools, regardless of workpiece size or position on the feed belt.
Quick Tool Change: Speedy change of tools when using different materials.
Versatility: Large selection of disc tools for different applications.
Capabilities:
Graining in a decorative straight-line finish.
Deburring and edge rounding (coarse and fine).
Deburring and edge rounding with oxide removal.
Deburring, edge rounding, and orbital finish.
Processing plasma-cut, laser-cut, or water-jet cut parts.
Deburring and edge rounding of 3D punched parts.
Deburring of small parts from Ø 20mm.
Processing foil-coated or zinc-coated sheet metal.
Processing steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Technical Data:
Maximum working width: 1350mm.
Shortest workpiece length: 20mm.
Material thickness: 0.3mm – 80mm.
Options:
Rotating Cleaning Brush: Cleans the conveyor belt from below on the outfeed side.
Infinitely Variable Disc RPM: Adjust disc RPM for optimal results with different tools.
Quick-Fix Tool Connector: Facilitates faster changing of discs when switching between materials.
Lighting: LED lights inside the machine.
Magnetic Track: Permanent magnetic track below the feed belt for holding down smaller steel parts, recommended when using OxideDiscs or HammerDiscs.
Dust Extraction Unit: Available for wet or dry processing to remove harmful abrasive dust.
Aluminum Extraction Kit: Improves dust extraction during aluminum processing with hoods around the discs.
Floating Head System: Unique DPG floating head system prevents overheating and protects the contact drum by moving the unit out of the way if grinding pressure gets too high.
Conveyor Tables: Available in different lengths and widths for processing longer workpieces, with optional feed speed linkage to the machine.
Units/Tools:
Abrasive Belt Unit with Contact Drum: Used for graining a decorative straight-line finish or for deburring. The hardness and diameter of the contact drum can be selected based on the application (harder drum for straight-line finishing, softer drum for deburring).
Transversal Disc Unit: Discs rotate and oscillate with a stroke larger than the width of the feed belt for even processing from all angles and directions, ensuring uniform wear of all discs.
Possible Tools:
SoftDisc: For deburring mild steel or aluminum.
CompactDisc: Legally-protected for removing higher burrs and spatter on stainless steel.
MediumDisc: For edge rounding, available in different grit sizes and hardnesses.
OrbitalDisc: For creating a non-directional finish with the Löwer Orbital device (patent pending).
SmartFlexDisc: Flexible disc for edge rounding foil-coated, zinc-coated, or deformed sheet metal parts.
OxideDisc: For removing the oxide layer on side edges.
Endless Abrasive Belts and Nylon Abrasive Belts: Available in different grit sizes and grain types.
