DP Laser,  is seeking a rock star to join our production team. We are looking for a Laser Assembler/Technician as part of our production team to assemble, adjust, align and test laser marking systems.

 PerfoDPng optical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical assembly, following work instructions.
 Cleaning and preparing optical components for assembly. This may include cleaning, inspecting, and sub-assembling them.
 Aligning optics to create output to customer specs.
 Coordinating production scheduling with Materials and Project management.
 Basic knowledge of RS-232 and USB ports desired. Candidate must have basic soldering skills, able to read instrument output (power meters, laser controllers and others) and be able to work with microscopes and eyepieces. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential.
 Individual must have at least 1 year post-secondary education and experience in electro-mechanical and cable assembly. Associate’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
 Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Experience with laser or laser marking systems a plus but not required. Candidates with supervisory skills or aptitude are desired. This is a full time position with benefits after 90 days employment.

DP Laser, LLC is looking for qualified candidates for a Sales Application Technician. This unique opportunity allows you to learn product capabilities with hands-on training in the operation of our laser systems!
 
This position will transition through different elements in the Sales (cycle) over the course of several months.  These elements include product training – receive instruction, learn product specs and practice using our laser markers to make marks on various surfaces;  phone sales – qualifying prospective customers, pitching and garnering interest in our products across market sectors, providing technical information and recommendations based on customer’s intended use for the laser marker; closing sales and customer follow up.  Occasional travel to customer sites to provide training and assist with initial product setup.
 
We are looking for someone with high energy who is motivated for sales. Someone who is a self-confidence, self-starter, and has a desire for self-development is a must. This person will have excellent verbal communication, take rejection and uncertainty in stride, and handle any pressure thrown their way. Capacity and interest to learn laser technology to communicate intelligently with customers.  Must have patience, persistence and ability to ask for and close a sale.

 Learns sales process by completing training assignments, a rotation through telemarketing, the application lab, and customer service. 

 Learns sales technical abilities by completing rotation in a laser applications lab.
 Practices sales process by calling and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
 Learns sales process by completing training program; completing study assignments.
 Observes sales process by traveling with sales representatives; attending sales and service calls.
 Practices sales process by calling on existing and then new accounts; adhering to established sales steps.
 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; reading sales and marketing publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in sales and marketing organizations.

 Must include an associate degree or higher. No sales experience necessary.
