1. Equipment Type:
Fully automatic through-feed sheet metal deburring machine. The sheet metal is automatically fed into the machine by a conveyor belt, processed, and then automatically discharged, enabling continuous operation.
2. Main Functions:
Deburring: Efficiently removes sharp burrs and slag left on the sheet edges after laser cutting, plasma cutting, punching, or shearing.
Edge Rounding/Chamfering: Processes sharp edges into uniform rounded arcs (R-radius) or angled chamfers (C-bevel), improving part safety and aesthetics.
Surface Cleaning: Some models can perform light surface cleaning or brushing (e.g., using Scotch-Brite wheels) to remove minor surface scratches or oxidation.
3. Working Principle:
Feeding: The operator places the sheet metal onto the infeed conveyor.
Adjustment: The machine automatically detects the sheet's width and thickness via sensors and precisely positions the upper and lower deburring heads.
Processing: The sheet is fed at a constant speed into the processing area. The high-speed rotating upper and lower heads (typically motor-driven) simultaneously contact the top and bottom edges of the sheet, removing burrs and creating a rounded edge through milling or brushing.
Discharge: The processed sheet, with smooth and flat edges, is discharged from the outfeed end.
