Laser welding metal technology has been developed in my country for more than ten years. As early as 2002, my country officially put into operation a commercial laser tailor-welded blank production line. Coincidentally, that year was the time when Guangzhou Teyu Electromechanical Co., Ltd. was established. In the following ten years, special domain S&A has been developing together with the laser welding industry, contributing to the promotion of modern industrial production in my country.
Today, the application of laser welding technology can be seen everywhere, from triangle valves, water pipe fittings and other hardware accessories to rockets, airplanes, and ships. Tens of thousands of laser welding equipment have supported the modern industrial production.
The traditional laser welding technology is trapped in the situation of positioning and fixtures, and it will be broken in the handheld laser welding technology. Without the constraints of positioning and fixtures, hand-held laser welding has more room for development. In the processing of some complex workpieces with irregular shapes and large workpieces, the advantages of flexible operation are more obvious.
With the continuous acceleration of the localization of laser technology, the expensive price of hand-held laser welding equipment will continue to decline. By then, hand-held laser welding machines will become common equipment in metal material welding processing plants.
