2、Stainless steel. When cutting materials, edge oxidation does not matter, available oxygen for laser cutting of stainless steel; if you need to get no oxidation and burr edge, it is recommended to use nitrogen cutting.


3, aluminum. Among metal materials, aluminum has a high reflectivity and thermal conductivity, the general thickness of aluminum plate less than 6mm, can still be cut by laser cutting machine, depending on the type of alloy and laser capabilities. When cutting with oxygen, the cutting surface will be rough and hard; when using nitrogen, the cutting surface is relatively smooth. Pure aluminum is high purity and difficult to cut. Only when the fiber laser cutting machine system is installed on the "reflection absorption" device, you can cut aluminum, otherwise it is easy to damage the laser equipment components.


4, copper and brass. Copper and brass also belong to the high anti and thermal conductivity materials. General thickness of less than 1mm brass available nitrogen laser cutting cutting; thickness of less than 2mm copper can also be cut, laser cutting must use oxygen. At the same time, it is recommended to install a "reflection absorption" device on the fiber laser cutting system to avoid damage to components when cutting copper and brass laser cutting machine!
