Deburring & Edge Rounding: The machine uses a combination of dry sanding belts and multiple orbital flap wheel units to remove burrs from the edges of metal parts. The process rounds sharp edges and creates a smooth surface for the workpieces.
Surface Finishing: The sanding belt station removes large burrs, slag particles, and oxide skins from the metal surface. The flap wheels provide a high-speed centrifugal polishing effect that smoothens the edges and holes of the parts, ensuring a consistent R-angle (corner radius) between 0.2mm and 0.5mm. The size of the R-angle can be adjusted using different abrasive materials.
