DL800 Slag Removal and Deburring Machine
1. Processing Scope
Applicable Materials: Carbon steel plates and similar metal workpieces
Functions:
The DL800 is a dry-type machine that combines one group of steel hammer disc brushes, one horizontal abrasive belt station, and one universal planetary brush station.
It is designed to efficiently remove slag and burrs from edges and holes, and is capable of surface finishing tasks such as slag removal, deburring, surface brushing, polishing, and oxide removal.
It handles burrs and slag generated from drilling, punching, shearing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and flame cutting, leaving a smooth R-edge finish on all corners and holes, without damaging the workpiece or film.
2. Working Principle
Stage 1 – Steel Hammer Disc Brushes:
A group of oscillating steel hammer disc brushes first knocks off heavy slag, dross, or scale from the surface of carbon steel plates.Stage 2 – Horizontal Abrasive Belt:
Followed by a horizontal sanding belt station that removes residual burrs and performs surface sanding and polishing.Stage 3 – Planetary Brush Head:
A universal planetary brush head, composed of 4 flap disc brushes (counter-rotating and revolving), provides high-speed centrifugal grinding and trimming to remove burrs from all angles including edges and internal holes.
This ensures consistent R-edge rounding (approx. 0.2–0.5 mm) without affecting dimensional accuracy.Each station (hammer brush, sanding belt, flap brush) can be operated independently:
Steel hammer brush: for slag/dross knocking
Abrasive belt: for surface finishing, oxide removal, and polishing
Flap brush: for 360° edge deburring and rounding
Protective Film Safe:
The flexible abrasive wires are specially designed for burrs, ensuring no damage to film-coated surfaces during processing.Magnetic Worktable:
A permanent magnet conveyor system securely holds carbon steel parts (≥50×50 mm) without the need for fixtures.Feed speed is inverter-controlled.
Dust Collection:
Equipped with a wet-type dust collector, grinding dust is drawn into a chamber by a high-pressure blower and settled using a water spray system, ensuring environmental safety and air cleanliness in the workspace.
