1000mm Deburring Machines for Deburring / Edge Breaking / Edge Rounding / Edge Rounding / Finishing / Heavy Slag Removal / Laser Oxide Removal

This equipment is a dry sand belt and two groups of universal sand tablet roller brush combination model.It is
mainly used to handle the workpiece edge, hole deburr treatment and realize the metal plate hairline,
deoxidation skin, polishing and other processing treatment.

Applicable Scope of Equipment

  • Materials: Suitable for flat plate parts including carbon steel plates, stainless steel plates, aluminum plates, copper plates, titanium alloy, various non-ferrous metals, as well as rubber and plastic materials.

  • Primary Functions: Pre-grinding, surface brushing, polishing, scratch removal, deburring, and chamfering for workpieces processed through laser cutting, shearing, punching, waterjet cutting, and plasma cutting.

  • Structure: Wide abrasive belt combined with one or multiple universal roller brushes for versatile processing capabilities.

  • Precision Lifting System: Four-column synchronized lifting, with independent lifting for the roller brush position, controlled by a servo system with an accuracy of 0.01 mm.

  • Control System: Full machine operation controlled via a PLC with a touchscreen interface for precise adjustment of processing parameters.

  • Dust Collection Options: Includes either a wet vacuum cleaner or an industrial pulse vacuum cleaner for grinding dust collection, promoting environmentally friendly production.

  • Edge Breaking: Edge breaking is the process of rounding off sharp, square edges of a part. It is often done to remove any sharp corners that could cause injury, damage, or issues during assembly. Edge breaking can also improve the part's appearance and increase the lifespan of both the part and tools that come into contact with it.

  • Edge Rounding: Edge rounding refers to the process of creating a smooth, rounded edge on a part, often to improve safety and aesthetics. It can be done to eliminate sharp angles or to prepare the edge for further processes such as coating or assembly. The radius of the rounded edge can vary based on the requirements of the part.

  • Edge Rounding up to 2 mm Radius: This is a specific type of edge rounding where the edge is rounded to a radius of up to 2 mm. It ensures that the part's edges are smoothly rounded, which can be important for both safety and aesthetic purposes, as well as for making the part more suitable for further processing or assembly.

  • Finishing: Finishing refers to the final processing steps that are performed on a part to achieve the desired surface quality and appearance. This can include processes like polishing, sanding, or brushing to remove surface imperfections, smooth rough surfaces, or enhance the part's finish. It is typically the last step in manufacturing before the part is ready for use or further assembly.

  • Heavy Slag Removal: Heavy slag removal involves removing thicker, tougher layers of material (slag) that form on metal surfaces during processes such as welding or plasma cutting. Slag can negatively affect the surface finish and mechanical properties of the material, so it needs to be effectively removed to ensure clean surfaces for further processing or use.

  • Laser Oxide Removal: Laser oxide removal is a technique used to remove oxide layers or contamination on metal surfaces, typically after processes like laser cutting. A laser is used to precisely remove these oxide layers without damaging the underlying material. This process is important for cleaning metal surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings, paints, or other treatments.

Working Principle

  1. Processing Stages:

    • Sand Belt Station: Removes large burrs and slag from the workpiece surface.

    • Universal Sand Tablet Roller Brush: The eight groups of roller brushes handle edge and inner hole deburring with high-speed centrifugal grinding, scraping, and filing. The process ensures smooth R-angle formation without affecting dimensional accuracy.

  2. Independent Functionality:

    • Sand Belt Station: Can independently handle hairline finishing, polishing, and slag removal.

    • Sand Rolling Brush Station: Operates independently for 360-degree deburring, especially effective on coated sheet metal (e.g., laser-cut or CNC-punched parts), with minimal risk of damaging protective films or scratching surfaces. Soft abrasive wires are used to selectively target burrs without harming the coated surfaces.

  3. Conveying and Dust Collection System:

    • Equipped with a vacuum negative pressure system to securely hold workpieces, even as small as 50mm x 50mm, allowing consistent machining.

    • Integrated wet vacuum dust collection system with a high-pressure fan, which safely absorbs and filters dust, improving the work environment by recycling metal powder.
