Equipment Function:
This equipment is a combination model with a sanding belt station and a disc brush station for horizontal swinging. It is primarily used to handle burr removal, slag removal from holes, and edge rounding for stamped, laser-cut, plasma-cut parts. It processes the edges and holes of workpieces, ensuring the edges are smoothly rounded, and improves the surface quality. The machine is designed for continuous, safe, and reliable processing, ensuring the workpieces reach perfect quality.
The machine works as follows:
Sanding Belt Station:
The first step involves a high-speed sanding belt that removes large burrs and slag from the surface of the workpiece. This ensures that burrs, particles, and slag from cutting or punching are perfectly eliminated from the edges and holes.
Disc Brush Station:
The second step uses a set of 11 interlocking rotating disc brushes. These brushes provide a high-speed centrifugal action on the workpiece edges and holes, ensuring a uniform edge rounding effect. The brushes are designed to provide a clean and smooth finish, achieving a rounded edge (R-angle) without damaging the workpiece.
Each station operates independently and can be adjusted for specific tasks, ensuring flexibility in the machining process.
The conveying system uses a strong vacuum system to securely fix the workpieces. For workpieces over 50mm x 50mm (non-perforated), it can achieve through-feed processing without additional tooling. For special workpieces, fixtures can be used to secure the part during processing. The system is variable speed, using a frequency converter.
Dust Extraction:
The machine is equipped with a wet vacuum system to reduce safety hazards and effectively manage grinding dust. A high-pressure fan sucks the dust into a dust chamber, where water is used to settle the dust and filter it out, ensuring that clean air is released into the atmosphere. This promotes a safer and cleaner work environment while recovering metal powders for environmental sustainability.
Improved Production Efficiency: Continuous feeding allows for through-feed processing, meeting high-volume order demands.
Improved Product Quality: The consistency of processed parts is excellent, and the surface finish far exceeds manual processing results.
