LSB1350
Deburring Machine - Single-Sided, Slag Removal & Edge Rounding
Model: 1350
Width: 1350mm
Applications: Heavy-duty automated slag removal, deburring, and edge rounding for thick steel parts, primarily cut by plasma or oxyfuel.
Heavy Burrs Removal:
The 1350 machine is equipped with a large deburring drum, specifically designed for the removal of heavy burrs from thick steel parts. This powerful drum ensures that even the toughest burrs are efficiently removed from the inside and outside contours of the workpieces.
Edge Rounding:
The machine includes a double cross belt head that performs edge rounding. The belts run in opposing directions, which helps to create soft, smooth edges after deburring, leaving the workpieces with clean, professionally rounded contours.
Drum Fluctuation:
The drum fluctuation system is designed to adapt to varying metal sheet tolerances. This ensures that the machine can process parts of different thicknesses and material properties with consistent deburring performance, regardless of slight variations in the workpiece.
Magnetic Conveyor for Small Parts:
The 1350 machine features a wide magnetic conveyor area, making it ideal for processing small parts as well. Even under significant deburring pressure, the magnetic conveyor ensures that small pieces stay securely in place during processing.
Single-Sided Processing:
The machine is designed for single-sided processing, efficiently deburring and edge rounding the inside and outside contours of workpieces. This makes it particularly well-suited for parts that need precise and thorough finishing without the need for manual intervention.
Heavy-Duty Automated Operation:
Built for heavy-duty automated use, the 1350 deburring machine is capable of handling large volumes of parts with consistent results, making it ideal for industrial-scale applications where efficiency and reliability are crucial.
Deburring and Rounding Edges:
The 1350 machine is designed to efficiently deburr and round edges. It features a powerful contact drum that handles heavy burrs, combined with two counter-rotating cross belts that perform precise edge rounding. This combination ensures both heavy burr removal and a smooth, rounded finish on the edges of workpieces.
Heavy Burrs Deburring:
The machine is equipped with a large diameter deburring drum made from extra soft rubber , specifically designed for removing large burrs on thick materials like heavy steel parts. The drum applies concentrated pressure on the edges where burrs are located, leaving the surface of the material lightly touched, preserving the integrity of the workpiece.
Floating System:
The floating system allows the machine to adapt to varying metal tolerances. It includes vertical fluctuation with adjustable pressure to accommodate different thicknesses and materials, ensuring consistent deburring. The system also features horizontal oscillation during operation, which improves the lifetime of the abrasive paper and ensures more uniform processing.
Smooth Edges:
The two cross belts running in opposite directions are equipped with abrasive blocks that effectively round the edges of the part. This ensures complete edge rounding across the entire part, even in areas that are challenging to reach.
Small Parts Deburring:
For small steel parts, the machine includes a 600mm section with a magnetic conveyor. This ensures that, even under substantial deburring pressure, small parts will not move or shift during processing, maintaining precise and consistent results.
Automatic Abrasive Wear Compensation:
The machine features an automatic abrasive wear compensation system. Each time the machine is switched on, a procedure measures the wear on the abrasives. The measured wear is communicated to the PLC, which then compensates for it to maintain consistent rounding pressure and performance.
Control Panel:
Which stations are active
The operating speed for each station
The working pressure for both the drum and the cross belts
The on/off status of the floating drum and drum oscillation
Any failure messages are also displayed, allowing for easy troubleshooting.
The newly developed control panel includes advanced software that allows the operator to easily adjust machine settings. The control panel provides options to regulate:
Automatic Thickness Measurement:
The 1350 also features automatic thickness measurement using a laser beam that slides through the conveyor to measure the thickness of the workpiece. The thickness data is automatically transferred to the PLC, ensuring that the machine adjusts its processing parameters accordingly for optimal results.
