1600mm Automatic Deburring Machine for Sheet Metal with Sand Belt And Roller Brush

This equipment is a dry-type combination machine with one set of steel hammer disc brushes, one set of horizontal sanding belts, and one set of planetary roller brushes. It is primarily used for processing the edges, holes, and surface treatments of metal plates, such as removing slag, wire drawing, deburring, and polishing.
The machine can fully remove burrs produced during processes like drilling, stamping, shearing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, flame cutting, etc., in one pass.

I. Main Processing Scope

Processed Products:

  • Stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum plates, copper plates, and various non-ferrous metals.

Equipment Functions:

  • This equipment is a combination model featuring a dry sand belt station and eight groups of universal sand pad roller brush stations. It is mainly used for:

    • Removing burrs from the edges and holes of workpieces.

    • Surface treatment of metal sheets, including hairline finishing, oxide skin removal, and polishing.

    • Particularly suitable for removing burrs generated during processes such as stamping, shearing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and flame cutting. It can remove burrs comprehensively and efficiently, ensuring uniform small R-curve edges and holes. The processing is safe and reliable, and the workpiece quality is perfect.

II. Equipment Working Principle

Initial Processing:

  • The equipment first uses a sand belt station to remove larger burrs and slag particles from the workpiece surface.

Fine Processing:

  • The eight groups of universal sand pad roller brushes work in tandem, with adjacent rollers rotating in opposite directions and combining in an orbital motion. This process uses centrifugal grinding, scraping, and filing to remove burrs from the edges and holes, ensuring no blind spots and creating a uniform R-angle (the size of the R-angle can be adjusted by choosing different abrasive belts).

Independent Operation:

  • The sand belt station can operate independently for tasks such as hairline finishing, polishing, oxide skin removal, and slag removal.

  • The sand pad roller brush station can also run independently to achieve 360-degree burr removal, particularly effective for laser-cut or CNC-punched parts with protective films. It removes burrs thoroughly without damaging the film or scratching the workpiece surface.

Conveyor System:

  • The system features a powerful vacuum negative pressure adsorption to ensure the workpieces remain securely fixed during processing. For workpieces larger than 50mm x 50mm (without holes), it can process without tooling. Special workpieces can use custom fixtures for secure processing.

Wet Dust Extraction System:

  • Equipped with a wet vacuum dust extraction system, it effectively reduces safety risks and processes grinding dust efficiently. The high-pressure, high-flow fan captures the grinding dust and filters it through water spray, ensuring clean air is released into the atmosphere and providing a safe, clean working environment.
